                  St. Mark's Seeks Rector
The Bishop of British Columbia seeks an incumbent for the Anglican Parish of St. Mark, Qualicum Beach, Vancouver Island. St. Mark's is a vibrant, active, inclusive and financially stable parish of about 175 families. Both the Book of Alternative Services and the Book of Common Prayer are used on a regular basis and music plays an important role in Sunday worship. The music team includes a choir, organist, pianist, two guitarists and a bell choir. The congregation includes members from many Anglican backgrounds and is being continually refreshed by newcomers to the community.

St. Mark's is a friendly, welcoming community of faith with particular strengths in pastoral care, education and outreach. Experienced clergy with a demonstrated ability to lead and and administer parish worship, spiritual development and congregational growth are invited to apply. Copies of the Parish Profile, along with the Diocesan Visioning document, may be obtained from Imelda Secker, Administrative Assistant to the Bishop, by contacting her at seckeri@bc.anglican.ca
Deadline for receipt of applications is October 15th
